Boys' Fourths Basketball vs Hebrew High School New England

Score/Result: 29-43 L

Monday, January 09, 2017

Kai Shen Neoh as point guard led the fourths team in their first contest of the season. Big Red was the first on the board with a nice lay-up from Stefan Kim at center, but gradually, HHNE’s ability to shoot three pointers coupled with Taft’s inability to contest such shots allowed HHNE to run up the score and frustrate Taft’s offense. Justin Song had a few great steals, but overall, Taft was unable to keep their focus. Accordingly, the Rhinos look forward to improving their man-to-man coverage in the coming weeks. Some of the plays learned after winter break worked well on the court, but generally, better communication between players would enhance their success. Next up, Gunnery!

Notable Statistics:

Neoh — 9 points, 3 assists

Gan — 8 points, 2 assists

Kim — 5 points, 5 rebounds
