Boys' Fourths Basketball vs Gunnery School

Score/Result: 41-22 W

Wednesday, January 11, 2017

Taft's Boys' IVs started their regular season play in the Founder's League with more intensity: rebounding from a tough loss against HHNE, where our defense struggled to contest outside shots, Big Red maintained both better form and composure on the main court. Taft possessed the ball on offense for the majority of both halves: KaiShen as point guard ran several successful plays, and standout performances on defense from Omar Veliz, Matt O'Toole, and Justin Song led to turnovers that ensured that Taft's set the tempo on offense. Notably, each player maintained or improved upon his percentage of free throw shots from the prior game. All boys look forward to building on this game's momentum.

Notable Statistics:

KaiShen Neoh: 22 points, 4 assists

Justin Song: 4 points, 2 assists

Matt O'Toole: 3 steals
