Dear Parents of the Class of 2016,
Earlier this spring, we had a snow squall come through campus, with bitter cold and driving winds. It's hard to imagine that soon enough it will be a warm spring day and we will hold our 126th Commencement. Time races by in the senior spring, and it ends with a day of singular tradition and pride, when families, students and faculty come together to celebrate this wonderful class. I invite you to join the class of 2016!
Commencement will be held on Sunday, May 29th in Centennial Quad. Should bad weather force us inside, as it has on a few occasions, we will be in the Cruikshank Athletic Center. For more details, please see the letter from Bonnie Welch.
You are invited to a reception and dinner dance, held in McCullough Field House, at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 28th. And, prior to that Collegium Musicum, the Jazz Band, and the Chamber Ensemble will have their final concert in Bingham Auditorium at 5:30 p.m.
This will be a day of enormous celebration, and I look forward to seeing you.
