Grading Scale

Taft’s academic grading system includes a 40-100 achievement scale and two letter grades based on students’ academic habits. The honor roll is comprised of students who earn an academic average of 87 or above for a semester. The high honor roll is comprised of students who earn an average of 93 or above for a semester. Below is the achievement scale.

Meets Standards 80-86
Approaching Standards 70-79
In Danger of Failure 60-69
(Graded work in all the above categories qualifies as receiving credit.)
Failure 40-59
